하나님을 섬길 것인가, 맘몬을 섬길 것인가?
돈을 사랑하지 않고 하나님을 사랑하는 삶
어떤 사람은 돈이 많아도 불행하고, 어떤 사람은 돈이 없어도 행복하다. 돈이 사람의 행복과 불행을 결정하는 게 아니기 때문이다. 그런데 이런 공식이 사람들을 어렵게 만든다.
맘몬의 강력한 영향력이 돈에 대한 잘못된 이해를 우리 안에 심는다. 그래서 돈 자체에 가치를 부여하여 돈을 따라가게 하고, 돈을 따라가는 사람들의 삶을 파괴로 이끈다. 돈의 유혹을 쉽게 받고, 돈을 따라가게 만든다. 그러나 돈을 명확히 이해하면 ‘돈을 사랑하지 않고 하나님을 사랑하는 삶’을 산다. 하나님 자체를 사랑하고, 돈을 다룰 줄 알게 된다.
이 책을 통해 누가 행복한 사람인가, 누가 부자인가, 누가 행복하지 않은 사람인가, 누가 가난한 사람인가를 살피고 돈의 올바른 기능과 가치를 알아가길 바란다.
내 삶을 역전시키는
오늘 꼭 들어야 할 지혜의 말씀
말씀을 묵상할 때 두 가지를 성령께 요청해야 합니다.
이 질문이 묵상의 지름길입니다.
“성령님, 이 말씀을 통해 나에게 무슨 말씀을 하기 원하십니까?”
“성령님, 나에게 하신 이 말씀을 따라 내가 어떻게 살기를 원하십니까?”
하나님의 말씀은 ‘인생 내비게이션’ 같아서
우리가 나아갈 방향을 제시해주고(: 교훈),
잘못된 길로 가지 않도록 보호하며(: 책망),
다시 올바른 길로 돌아가도록 이끌고(: 바르게 함),
목적지까지 끝까지 인도(: 의로 교육함)합니다(딤후 3:16).
말씀 묵상은 선택 사항이 아니라 필수 과목입니다.

or Will You Serve Mammon?
A Life That Loves God and Not Money
Some are unhappy despite having a lot of money, and some are happy despite having no money. This is because money is not what determines one’s happiness. Nevertheless, this equation, which equates money to happiness, burdens the hearts of many.
Mammon’s powerful influence plants a false understanding of money within people’s mind. Mammon makes people value money in and of itself, causing them to chase after money.
However, once we clearly understand what money is, we live a life not with love for it, but a love for God; we learn to love God in all His greatness and learn how to handle money.
It is my hope that the readers of this book begin a journey of reflection on who is happy, who is rich, who is unhappy, and who is poor. I hope that through this journey, readers will gain an understanding of the real function and value of money.
“Now is the Time for the Word of God to Flourish”
'God’s principle is written only in the Bible. The Bible is the textbook of all things. The Word of God is as a plumb rule (a plumb line attached to a board to ascertain the level of alignment). Throughout history, we see it is when the Word of the Lord flourishes that we witness change in every realm. God created the world with His Word, and with His Word, He holds the world.
So, in order to partake in God’s wondrous works, the Bible which is the Word of God must first flourish in us. This is because the building of righteous leadership and financial principles begins through the Bible.
The principles to set each realm of society upright are within the Bible. The Book of Deuteronomy can be considered a guideline to established God’s Kingdom in the land of Canaan which was promised to Israel. And at its core, there is only the Word of God. ‘Shema’ is the central message. Shema has the meaning of “hear” in “Hear, O Israel” written in Deuteronomy 6:4-9. It means that we need to hear the Word of God and make it our plumb rule for everything.
Now is the time for God’s Word to flourish. Now is the time to make the Word of God the standard in both our personal lives and in all areas of society. That is where we will begin to see a revival.
